About this file

This document provides instructions for state agencies in Nevada on the use of the Mini-Bid process for procuring services. It outlines the process for agencies to collect at least three quotes from vendors awarded under a prior Request for Quotes (RFQ) and to use the NevadaEPro Mini-Bid process to solicit responses. The instructions specify that vendors should be given three full days to respond to each agency's Statement of Work (SOW) and cost quote requests, and that all jobs should be bid on a project-based rate. Agencies are responsible for monitoring vendor licensing compliance and may require unforeseen services on an as-needed basis, with the ability to change the scope and cost of the job with advance notice. After the Mini-Bid process, the agency and vendor must complete a written service agreement.

The document also references a related state and local contract opportunity for Fire Fuels Reduction and Vegetation Management Services - Ground Only in the state of Nevada. Pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, and other salient details are not provided in this document.
