About this file

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for SR PTL Vacuum Chambers issued by the University of California on behalf of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL).

The RFQ includes detailed technical specifications and requirements for various vacuum chamber components and associated hardware, including item descriptions, quantities, and delivery dates. Interested vendors must be able to meet the technical specifications outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and Engineering Specification (ES) documents, provide a delivery schedule, demonstrate manufacturing and quality control capabilities, and have recent experience producing complex ultra-high vacuum chambers. Proposals exceeding $150,000 require additional certification forms. The RFQ has a response due date of June 20, 2024 and notes a preference for firm fixed price quotes. The resulting award will be a subcontract under LBNL's prime contract with the Department of Energy.
