About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Parks and Watercraft for the purchase and installation of four metal storage buildings at various State Park locations across Ohio. The project requires construction of four separate buildings: a 16'x20'x7' storage shed for UTVs at Headlands Beach State Park, a 16'x24'x7' storage shed for UTVs and a Jon boat at East Harbor State Park, and two 30'x50'x14' storage sheds for construction equipment at DNR North Construction in Ravenna and DNR South Construction in Bainbridge. Each building will be bid separately and suppliers may bid on one or multiple projects. A pre-bid meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams on January 7, 2025, from 11am-12pm, and the project completion deadline is June 30, 2025.

The contract will be awarded by line item to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State. Suppliers must obtain applicable building permits, coordinate inspections with the Ohio Department of Commerce, and provide as-built records including drawings and maintenance manuals. All buildings require specific features including metal siding (tan), metal roofs (brown or green), man doors, roll-up garage doors, gutters and downspouts, and must be installed on either prepared gravel bases or existing concrete pads. The buildings near Lake Erie must be durable enough to withstand shoreline environmental conditions. Shipping, delivery, and installation costs must be included in the item costs. Suppliers are encouraged to visit the sites before submitting bids.
