About this file
This document is a Memorandum for Training outlining the National Acquisition Center (NAC) process for training on delivery orders, starting with the FEB 16 consolidation. The key procedural changes include: applications training will be awarded concurrent with equipment purchase, off-site training for Biomed, Physician, and Physicist roles will be removed from the delivery order (DO) award, and customers must submit training requests at the time of need with specific participant names and course dates.
The memorandum details the administrative process for training modifications, specifying that HTME will process training requests as DO modifications, including only the training course tuition cost. Travel expenses will be managed at the facility level, and vendors will be paid upon submission of a completion certificate. This approach appears to streamline the training procurement process for the Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center's equipment consolidation effort.
