About this file
This memorandum outlines the training process for delivery orders related to the Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center's January 2025 medical equipment consolidation (Solicitation 36A79725Q0005). The document specifies that applications training will be awarded concurrent with equipment purchases, with off-site training for Biomed, Physician, and Physicist roles removed from the initial delivery order award.
The training request process requires customers to submit individual names and course dates when training is needed. HTME will process these requests as delivery order modifications, covering only the training course tuition. Travel expenses will be managed at the facility level, and vendors will be paid upon submission of a completion certificate. This approach provides flexibility for training procurement and ensures precise cost allocation for training services associated with high-tech medical equipment acquisition.
