About this file

This document is a market research survey, not a request for a bid or proposal, for the procurement of a Cold Weather Undershirt. The Defense Logistics Agency is conducting market research to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and the industry's capability to provide the required item.

The survey seeks information on the respondent's company, business size, manufacturing capabilities, production rates, and pricing for the Cold Weather Undershirt, which shall be made in accordance with MIL-DTL-32741 with Amendment 1, dated 25 March 2024. The government anticipates an annual demand quantity with a potential contract term of up to four years. Respondents are asked to provide information on their ability to meet the proposed production lead time, recommended lot sizes, and any cost drivers or material availability issues. The government is also interested in whether respondents have experience with long-term government contracts. This market research will help the government determine an appropriate contract term and acquisition strategy for the procurement of the Cold Weather Undershirt.
