About this file
This is a contract terms document for the Maine Military Authority (MMA), a one-year procurement agreement for the purchase of catalytic converters and miscellaneous parts to support vehicle and equipment refurbishment and maintenance operations. The solicitation requires vendors to submit bids for these components, with the contract period spanning one year from the award date. The document does not specify quantities, response deadlines, bidders' conferences, or site visits.
Bid prices must be submitted on a net F.O.B. destination basis with transportation and delivery charges fully prepaid by the contractor, and prices will remain fixed throughout the contract period unless periodic adjustments are mutually agreed upon in writing. The MMA may provide a preliminary shipment schedule representing its best estimate of needs, though actual delivery orders may vary based on operational requirements. Specific orders will be issued via Delivery Order documents sent by email to the vendor's primary contact, with shipments generally accepted only up to two weeks in advance of stated delivery dates; early shipments without prior approval are subject to refusal. Payment may be made by check, electronic funds transfer, or procurement card, with Maine state law prohibiting sellers from imposing surcharges on credit or debit card transactions. The State Purchasing Director reserves the right to extend the contract period with contractor consent and to cancel with thirty days' written notice.
