About this file
This document outlines the general contract terms for the Maine Military Authority (MMA), a one-year procurement contract for the purchase of Transmission Control Modules to support the agency's vehicle and equipment refurbishment and maintenance operations. The contract will be fulfilled through delivery orders transmitted via email to the vendor's primary contact, with each order assigned a distinct order number. MMA may issue multiple orders simultaneously with varying delivery dates, and shipments will only be accepted up to two weeks in advance of stated delivery dates without prior approval. Orders not delivered as scheduled are subject to modification or cancellation at MMA's discretion.
Bid prices must be submitted on a net F.O.B. destination basis with transportation and delivery charges fully prepaid by the contractor, and prices will remain fixed throughout the contract period unless periodic price adjustments are agreed upon in writing. The State of Maine reserves the right to pay through multiple methods including check, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or procurement card; however, Maine state statute (9-A MRSA 8-303) prohibits sellers from imposing surcharges on credit or debit card transactions. The State Purchasing Director retains the right to extend the contract beyond the indicated expiration date with contractor consent and to cancel the contract with thirty days' written notice.
