About this file

This is a Question and Answer (Q&A) document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) M6845026QM001, distributed to the DoD community only.

The document addresses a single clarification regarding payment terms under the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Section 2.0 Specific Tasks. The contractor inquiry sought confirmation that payment would be guaranteed for a minimum of six positioning/depositioning taskings (task 2.1) and 18 days of standby alert (task 2.2) as proposed in the contractor's price proposal. The government confirmed that a guaranteed minimum of six positioning/depositioning taskings and 18 days of standby alert will be priced in accordance with Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) 0001 and 0002, respectively. The answer clarifies that these guaranteed minimums may be fulfilled through multiple Task Orders issued in compliance with FAR clauses 52.216-18 and 52.216-19, which govern task order procedures for indefinite quantity contracts.
