About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a solicitation for a training atmospheric set enhancement effort at Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz in Guam for the Marine Corps Systems Command Program Manager for Training Systems and Resources. The solicitation seeks proposals to provide various atmospheric sets and spares to support training, including a hotel room set, dining facility set, and medical treatment facility set. Offerors are required to propose pricing based on the extended descriptions provided in Appendix A and cannot substitute or modify the specified components for each set. The document clarifies that the visual demonstration requirement can be met through submitted materials like photos and drawings rather than an in-person demonstration, and that the quantities listed in Appendix A represent the desired amounts. Installation of spare items must be consistent with the requirements for the other listed items.

1 What Part of the RFP is outside the scope of the MCSC PM TRASYS Atmospheric MATOC The NAICS code associated with the PM TRASYS MATOC is 541410 Interior Design Services, while the NAICS code associated with this effort is 339999 All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing.
Under the Technical Approach (ii) Visual Demonstration: Can you confirm that the visual demonstration is to provide images, photos in the RFP response? It appears this is the case with the request to include as an attachment. For previous related requirements, however, OPFOR was required to appear in Orlando, FL and build a visual demonstration. Given the due date, I'm guessing that is not the requirement.
Visual Demonstration is only through the solicited photos, drawings, etc.
3 Please confirm the quantities listed in Appendix A for quoting are the actual desired quantities for this effort. The quantities listed in Appendix A are the actual desired quantities for this effort
Seeking clarification regarding the Extended Description for some of the sets in Appendix A. For previous PM TRASYS Atmospherics solicitations, the contractor was able to propose the items and quantities that would be included in each set. This enabled us to provide a comprehensive realistic suggested package with an accurate pricing quote. For example, the Hotel Room set Extended Description in Appendix A specifies items that could be a 'set within a set'. The faux sink and conference tables may not be the most appropriate items reflective of a Hotel in this desired AOR. In the past, OPFOR has provided substitutes as requested but it's done at the task order level not at the proposal level.
Can you just confirm that we need to propose a quote based on the extended description items provided in Appendix A or does OPFOR have the flexibility to propose the specific components in each set which, in our relevant experience, make more sense for these listed Atmospheric sets?
Offerors shall propose a quote based on the extended description items provided in Appendix A
5 For the Spares listed in Appendix A, what is the requirement for installation/placement at the facility? Does the government want us to install the spares or put into a storage facility at the base?
The requirement for installation/placement for spares is consistent with the existing list (non-spares) in Appendix A.
