Historical Data

All historical data provided in this attachment are for planning purposes only.

1. The following table includes historical data for the number of students trained in Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Training Courses (CTC) rather than student throughput. Of the deliveries depicted in the chart back to 2015, 9% of training events occur at a location that requires travel.

*CTCs were previously classified as Master Lesson Files (MLFs) 1-9. The numbers indicate the top 6 most frequented courses.

**Transition from MLFs to CTCs. These numbers represent only the CTCs trained to, not the MLFs prior to the transition.

***Current numbers as of July 2017

2. The following charts include historical data for student throughput. The data counts individual Marines. Many Marines take more than one course. The current ratio is 1.6 courses per student and has remained stable for the last two years.

Throughput requirement:

Per the DOTMLPF CHANGE RECOMMENDATION for C-IED DtD Training, 6 June 2014: 46,224

Projection Annual Throughput:

2018 Projection: 44,379 Marines

Adjusted Annual Throughput:

2017 Adjusted: 54,552 Marines (adjusted by removing MCRD throughput which is no longer required)

2016 Adjusted: 43,085 Marines (adjusted by removing MCRD throughput which is no longer required)

Highest Adjusted Throughput:

2011 Adjusted: 54,803 Marines (adjusted by removing MCRD throughput which is no longer required)

Lowest Adjusted Throughput:

2014 Adjusted: 33,115 Marines (adjusted by removing MCRD throughput which is no longer required)

Additional Data:

· Five (5) Integrated Training Exercises and six (6) Mountain Exercises are supported per year with C-IED training/evaluation support

· An increase in training for MARFORRES is anticipated based on deployment projections. MARFORRES may require more travel than I MEF or II MEF

3. The following addresses historical data pertaining to vehicles and mirrors paragraph 6.2-Vehicles from the PWS:

The contractor shall provide its own transportation to provide training. This may include the training, processing, and deployment of unarmed cadre to locations that require extensive pre-deployment training and screening processes in accordance with (IAW) Combatant Command (CCMD) directives.

Contractor is responsible for transportation to support training. Historically this has required 12 contractor provided vehicles (large pick-up trucks).
