Questions and Answers

Part 1

1. Question: Would the Government please specify what footage is required for each CLINN?

Answer: Each person will have the opportunity to measure the areas at the site visit.

Contractors are responsible for bringing their own measuring wheels or measuring tools.

2. Question: Are floor plan drawings and drawings that show buildings available so we can calculate cable distances?

3. Question: Are there any approximate distances for the locations described in the SOW section

1.4.9 to help accurately quote a price?

4. Question: I was curious if there are any prints that are to scale so we can get the accurate footages?

Answer: Floor plan drawings for each building are posted.

5. Question: Will you sponsor a Facility clearance? Also, there seems to be a contradiction in the following statements:

1.6.6.2 Security Clearances. This contract does not require the contractor to possess a Secret

Facility Security Clearance, however all contractor personnel are subject to background checks prior to entry

4.2 Secret Facility Clearance: The contractor shall possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance from the Defense Security Service. The contractor’s employees, performing work in support of this contract shall have been granted a SECRET facility clearance from the Defense

Industrial Security Clearance Office.

Answer: Amendment 0001 to the solicitation has been issued to remove the requirement for a

Secret Facility Clearance. Section 4.2 is struck from the Performance Work Statement. Refer to the attached amendment. In addition, Contractors are not required to have a secret clearance.

The background check is required for base access.
