MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
1. Question: Is the total amount of grey water to be disposed of 200 gallons for all locations?
Answer: No, this requirement is only for two individual days. Each day will only require to have 100 Gal of Grey Water Waste to be removed.
2. Question: Where will the grey water be stored until it is collected?
Answer: The vendor will provide a container(s) to consolidate the Grey Water, the location that this will take place will be outside of the Enhanced Tray ration Heating System which will be located near the mobile kitchen are in Ancon.
3. Question: Can the chairs be plastic chairs, or do they need to be folding chairs?
Answer: This requirement is for folding chairs in the event that some chairs are not needed they can be folded for easy storage.
4. Question: The PWS does not provide a description of a wash station. What is a wash station?
Answer: The Wash Station is a hand washing station that will be located outside of the Port-A-Johns. The expectation is that the vendor will provide a hand washing station that individuals can use after using the facilities.
5. Question: How many chairs are to be provided? The PWS does not make mention of the quantity and the Life Support Schedule does not show a quantity.
Answer: Please review section 3.7 Tables and Chairs, it states that the Contractor is required to provide a minimum of 6 foldable chairs per table, chairs will be clean and sturdy.
6. Question: How many tables are to be provided? The PWS does not make mention of the quantity and the Life Support Schedule does not show a quantity.
Answer: Please review the UNITAS Life Support Schedule, the Tables and Chairs Line Item states a quantity per day, the total of Table will be 13.
7. Question: How many electrical receptacles will be required per tent? Typically the
Government has a ration of receptacles per person such as a 6 persons = 1 electrical receptacle.
Answer: 10 per tent at a minimum
8. Question: Are the tents to be used as medical tents or will they be used for a classroom environment?
Answer: In the Life Support Schedule the line items are labeled C2 and Medical. The C2 tents will be a classroom environment and the medical tent will be used for medical purposes.
9. Question: Will the generators be suppling power to just the 4 tents requested for Ancon and
Salinas?
Answer: Each tent will require a generator to operate and will only be powering their individual tent along with the items within it, there is also a need for generators to support Enhanced Tray ration Heating System Requirement in Ancon. An amendment to the solicitation will be pushed out this week to identify the change in these requirements and to specify the type of generator needed.
10. Question: What electrical wattage / voltage will the Government need to be powered by each generator?
Answer: Please review the updated PWS pertaining to generator requrements
11. Question: Will the generators be supplying power only to the tents?
Answer: Please review the answer for question 9.
12. Question: If the generators are going to be supplying power to other areas besides the tents, what will they be?
Answer: Please review the answer for question 9
13. Question: What will the distance be from the tents to the generators?
Answer: Minimum of 10-20 ft
14. Question: How many people will be in each tent? This will assist us in meeting the
ECU/HVAC requirement.
Answer: 10-15 people per tent
15. Question: How many hours a day will the tents need electricity?
Answer: 24 hours per day
16. Question: Will the generators need operate 24hrs a day?
Answer: Yes
17. Question: What does C2 mean?
Answer: C2 is the elements name that will be utilizing the services.
18. Question: What is Grupo Ocho?
Answer: Groupo Ocho is a location within the Peruvian military base that is collocated within the International Airport in Lima, it is the military side of the airport.
19. Question: Typically, on logistics contracts with the USMC or DOD, when there is a request for generators the request also includes a request for backup generator at 50% of the capacity of the main generator. Is a back generator at 50% capacity a requirement for the logistics solicitation?
Answer: Only one backup generator is required for the Mobile Kitchen System.
