This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for firefighting and personal protective equipment maintenance services at three Marine Corps installations: MCB Camp Pendleton, MCLB Barstow, and MCAS Miramar. The RFP outlines requirements for a firm-fixed-price contract with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, with potential 6-month extension, beginning January 15, 2025. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM PST on January 22, 2025.
The scope includes on-site inspection, testing, cleaning, certification, calibration, repair and maintenance of firefighting equipment and personal protective equipment across 15 fire stations. Key requirements include annual flow testing of SCBA equipment, hydrostatic testing of cylinders, air compressor maintenance, structural ensemble inspections, ladder testing, hose testing, and maintenance of various rescue tools and medical equipment. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 811310 with a size standard of $12.5M.
