About this file
This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a furniture moving contract at Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH). The amendment includes a comprehensive set of questions and answers related to the furniture relocation project, which involves moving government-furnished furniture from the second deck of Hangar 104 to the second deck of Hangar 105.
Key details include a contract period of performance ending 31 July 2025, with an expectation of completing the move within that timeframe. The move involves transporting furniture approximately 500 feet between hangars, requiring stair access and potentially using a lift. The contractor must provide all moving equipment, protective materials, and handle the relocation across multiple floors and sections of the hangars. Critical requirements include obtaining DBIDS credentials for access, using direct routing between hangars, and completing the move during normal working hours. No cleaning will be required, and no special handling of furniture is necessary. The government has uploaded site visit photos to assist contractors in understanding the moving requirements.
