About this file
This is a vendor confirmation letter from DataWorks Plus to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) in Florida regarding biometric management and crime scene documentation software services. The letter confirms that DataWorks Plus currently provides service to JSO for the Digital CrimeScene system and establishes the vendor's exclusive capability to supply and maintain the software infrastructure supporting JSO's existing systems. The correspondence addresses a contract opportunity for JSO to upgrade service and relocate to a new location, with DataWorks Plus positioned as the sole authorized provider for these critical law enforcement technology systems.
DataWorks Plus holds all intellectual property rights to the Digital CrimeScene and WebWorks Plus Web Application Server Software Source Code, with no other vendors authorized to service or maintain these products. The vendor emphasizes that no alternative software systems on the market can provide the integration necessary to replicate the functionality currently designed for JSO's operations, effectively establishing DataWorks Plus as the incumbent and sole-source provider for this upgrade and relocation project. The letter, dated August 12, 2026, represents the vendor's commitment to continue supporting JSO's technology infrastructure needs and provides direct contact information for the account executive to facilitate further discussions regarding the agency's requirements.
