About this file
This is a server move quote from DataWorks Plus for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Digital Crime Scene application. The quote outlines a comprehensive server migration project that includes moving the Digital Crime Scene application to a new virtual machine environment with updated infrastructure. The project scope encompasses backing up and transferring configuration files, establishing SQL Server log shipping during the transition, conducting user notifications regarding service outages, and verifying functionality of the new database server post-migration. All server moves are scheduled during normal business hours, and the current server infrastructure must remain operational for a minimum of two weeks following the migration to ensure complete data transfer. The quote is valid through November 30, 2026, with pricing provided by Becky Houston, Senior Account Executive, for Nancy Frazer at JSO.
The base cost for the server move is $4,700.00, with an optional upgrade to the new Digital Crime Scene Web version available for $5,400.00. Optional SQL Server licensing for a 4-core configuration is quoted at $8,080.00. The recommended server specifications include 32GB RAM, 4 cores, RAID 5 storage, and 400GB OS RAID 1 configuration. Payment terms require 100% payment due at installation, with net thirty (30) days from invoice receipt as an alternative. The quote includes provisions for additional engineering services at $250 per hour plus travel and administrative expenses, as well as CJIS, SOC II, or other audit reports billed at standard hourly rates. DataWorks Plus employees comply with FBI background checks and standard vendor background check requirements, with extensive background processes beyond standard checks to be covered by the agency.
