TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (TSA)

LAW ENFORCEMENT – FEDERAL AIR MARSHAL SERVICE (LE-FAMS)

NATIONAL COUNTER-UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (CUAS) PROGRAM

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

1. INTRODUCTION

Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) LE/FAMS-FLTO-FP-ASSESSMENTS has a requirement to purchase CUAS Spotters Kit equipment in support of a field-based law enforcement response to unverified and potentially suspicious/unauthorized drone activity. This customized, rapidly man-portable equipment identified in this SOW is necessary to build a field capability that will be utilized by LE/FAMs for threat discrimination, validation and UAS response operations.

2. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

The selected CUAS Spotters Kit offers a “turnkey” solution to the problem of validating potential visual observation of unauthorized drones, while ensuring these potential sightings are properly de-conflicted when it comes to manned aviation. This purchase will provide FAMS with a CUAS solution consisting of the following optical equipment that provides a daytime, nighttime and thermal capability for response operations:
