The RFP seeks competitive proposals from eligible publishers for evidence-based curriculum materials for preschool children ages 3-5, with the goal of a multi-stage, best-value procurement that may result in multiple awards. The district is requesting comprehensive curriculum resources including research-based materials, daily lesson plans across eight subject areas (Literacy, Fine Arts, Health Education, Lifelong Learning, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies), books, manipulatives, digital learning resources, and benchmark and formative assessments. The proposal is due on April 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with an anticipated contract execution in May 2025 and a five-year contract term expiring on June 30, 2030.
The evaluation process will be conducted in multiple stages, with a technical proposal review weighted across format, use, and content criteria totaling 215 possible points. Vendors must score a minimum of 150 points (70%) to advance to the cost evaluation stage, where pricing will be scored using a formula based on the lowest proposed price. The cost proposal is to be formatted as a per-student-per-year and per-teacher fee schedule. The maximum cost score is 50 points, and the final award decision will be announced in April 2025, based on cumulative scores from technical and pricing evaluations. The district reserves the right to cancel contracts with 30 days' notice and to incorporate additional learning resources into resulting contracts without re-initiating the RFP process.
