About this file

This document is Amendment No. 1 to a Request for Information (RFI) No. JF472025 for Clinical Alpha Radionuclide Producer (CARP) Specialty Equipment issued by Brookhaven National Laboratory. The amendment addresses eight vendor questions regarding specific equipment details, including gloveboxes, transportation casks, and HEPA filters. Key clarifications include: the vendor will not be responsible for glovebox design, Time & Materials (T&M) pricing will not be considered, and the project is not fully funded with an anticipated award in Q4 of Fiscal Year 2028. The amendment provides technical specifications for HEPA filters, which are 24"x24"x12", have 99.97% efficiency for 0.3-micron particles, and are qualified under UL 900 standards. Vendors are instructed to submit an official request to jfamiglie@bnl.gov to access reference documents in a shared folder.
