About this file

This document is an Antiterrorism Awareness pamphlet for contractors working at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in New Jersey. The pamphlet provides guidance on recognizing potential terrorist threats and suspicious activities, defining terrorism as "the unlawful use of violence to instill fear and coerce governments or societies." It outlines specific indicators contractors should watch for, including unusual surveillance, vehicles with expired tags, illegally parked vehicles, and repeated vehicle movements around the base.

The document details four Force Protection Conditions (FPCON) levels - Normal, Alpha, Charlie, and Delta - each representing increasing threat levels and corresponding security measures. Contractors are instructed to report suspicious activities to the 87th Security Forces Squadron at (609) 754-6001, with emergency contacts provided for both landline and cell phone. The pamphlet emphasizes the contractor's role as a "Force Multiplier" by providing additional vigilance to help maintain security for the base community and surrounding area, with a "WIN AS ONE" motto highlighting collective security responsibility.
