About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs - Manteno for air handler cleaning services. The project requires cleaning of 43 air handlers throughout the facility for Fiscal Year 2025 (contract execution through 06/30/2025). The work involves cleaning multiple air handlers across different facility areas: R1-R4 (20 units), R5 (2 units), A1 (1 unit), A2 (1 unit), S2 (7 units), S1 (6 units), and Interconnects (6 units). Each air handler must be cleaned including power washing of air boxes, squirrel cages, chiller coils, hot water coils, and fresh air intake screens. Questions are due by 03/03/2025, and all units are interior-based, measuring approximately 7'x7' and 40" high.
Vendors must submit pricing for both labor and materials as separate line items, with quotes valid for 90 days from submission. All prices must include shipping and handling charges, with no price increases accepted. The RFQ specifies that only electronic submissions via email or BidBuy will be accepted for this small purchase procurement, with paper submissions not being considered. Vendors must coordinate all work through the Chief Engineer's office and provide detailed reports with pictures for each air handler documenting completed work and any damage or repairs needed.
