About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) for the procurement and installation of 10-cubic yard (CY) dump bodies, hydraulic systems, V-box spreaders, and wing plows. The ITB outlines the requirements for the hydraulic systems and snowplow components, 10 CY asphalt dump bodies, 10 CY rock beds, and 8-foot extendable truck-mounted wing plows. The ITB specifies detailed technical requirements for each item, including dimensions, materials, construction, accessories, lighting, electrical, and other features. Bidders must attend a kickoff meeting and monthly progress meetings, provide delivery schedules, and coordinate inspections and acceptance with ITD. The contract term is not explicitly stated, but the ITB requires the contractor to warranty the equipment for 1-5 years depending on the component.
The ITB does not mention any pricing terms, set-asides, or incumbents. It requires bidders to provide steel certifications and documentation on the hoist and hydraulic system classifications. The ITD will be responsible for funding this procurement, but the specific amounts and sources are not provided. The ITB outlines detailed technical and logistical requirements that bidders must comply with to be considered for award.
