About this file

This document is an amendment to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) for tire recycling and disposal services. The ITB requires the contractor to provide one trailer per TDOT facility listed, which TDOT personnel will fill with recycled tires. The contractor is responsible for replacing the full trailer with an empty one and recycling the tires in accordance with all applicable state and federal environmental regulations. The contractor is not responsible for delivering the recycled tires to locations other than the specified TDOT facilities; TDOT will contact the contractor when the trailer is ready for pickup and recycling.

The amendment provides clarification on several aspects of the ITB, including the contractor's responsibilities for tire recycling and disposal, the number and locations of the TDOT facilities involved, and the process for trailer delivery and pickup. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified in the provided documents.
