About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 26-04 for Pest Control Services issued by the City of Oviedo, Florida, dated September 11, 2025. The addendum provides clarifying information for prospective bidders and addresses two specific questions from potential vendors. The document requires bidders to acknowledge receipt of the addendum on page 37 of the original ITB packet, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification.
The addendum reveals that the city currently does not have significant pest issues, attributing this to monthly preventative visits. The previous year's pest control services cost approximately $7,000, which provides potential bidders with a budget reference point. All other aspects of the original ITB 26-04 remain unchanged, and the document serves to provide transparency and additional context for interested bidding parties seeking to provide pest control services to the City of Oviedo.

Addendum No. 1
September 11, 2025
To Prospective Bidders and Others Concerned:
This Addendum is in response to questions from interested bidders and forms a part of the ITB documents dated August 24, 2025, for the above referenced ITB. Please note, questions are recorded as they are received, including grammar and spelling errors.
Receipt of this addendum must be acknowledged on page 37 of the original ITB packet. Failure to do so will subject the Bidder to disqualification.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
1. Question: What pest issues are you currently having and is there any information on budget so I can make sure we quote accordingly.
Response: No specific pest issues are occurring. I think monthly preventative visits have curbed any pest issues from forming.
2. Question: Is pricing from a previous vendor who performed these services available?
Response: Approximately $7000 year to date for pest controls services.
All other areas of ITB 26-04 remain unchanged.
