About this file
This document is Amendment Number One for Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 2525N125, issued by the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Statewide Contracting & Procurement. The amendment modifies the original solicitation for the Northern Region Aggregate Stockpile project, specifically changing the method of award to clarify that bidders must submit bids for all items within each of the four (4) designated lots to be considered responsive. The amendment was issued on May 2, 2025, with a bid due date of May 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM Alaska Time. The document includes responses to vendor questions, notably confirming that material sites are identified by DOT MS file numbers and that a package of Free Use Permits (FUPs) and DNR sales agreements will be posted as supplemental attachments.
The amendment addresses potential vendor confusion about the bidding process by explicitly stating that award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with responsiveness contingent upon bidding on all items within a specific lot. This clarification suggests the procurement is structured to allow multiple awards across different geographical lots. The document indicates that supplemental documentation will be provided to give vendors additional context about material sites, and the procurement specialist, Adam Tolles, signed the amendment to formalize these changes. While specific financial details are not provided in this amendment, it serves to provide clarity and additional information to potential bidders for the aggregate stockpile procurement.
