About this file

The provided file is a comprehensive technical specification document for the Crystal River Airport (CGC) Fuel Farm Project in Citrus County, Florida. The project involves a complete replacement of the airport's fuel infrastructure, including the removal and installation of two 12,000-gallon aviation fuel tanks (one for Jet A and one for Av Gas), associated equipment such as sump recovery tanks, pumps, filters, piping, hoses, reels, and electrical systems. The scope of work encompasses comprehensive system upgrades including electrical lighting, power systems, Emergency Fuel Shut-Off (EFSO) stations, Scully systems, a galvanized steel catwalk, electrical generator with transfer switch, utility rack with lighting controls and panels, a remote fueling cabinet with card reader, and necessary site work like asphalt patching.

The project will be competitively bid, with the successful contractor responsible for all permitting and required compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), state, and local laws, rules, and codes. While specific budget details are not explicitly stated in the technical specifications, the project involves substantial infrastructure investment requiring specialized engineering, electrical, and mechanical expertise. The technical specifications provide extensive, detailed requirements for each system component, indicating a complex, technically sophisticated project designed to modernize and improve the airport's fuel handling capabilities. The specifications cover everything from material specifications and installation requirements to testing, commissioning, and warranty provisions, suggesting a comprehensive and rigorous approach to the fuel farm replacement project.

D. Contract Extensions.

1. If Contractor is granted an extension of time for completion of any milestone or Contract completion date under the provision of the Contract and the General Conditions, determination of the total number of day’s extension will be based upon the current analysis of the schedule, and upon all data relevant to the extension. Such data shall be incorporated in next monthly update of schedule.

2. The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that delays in work items which, according to the schedule analysis, do not in fact actually affect any milestone dates or the Contract completion date shown on the Schedule at the time of the delay, will not be the basis for a contract extension.

3.05 PROJECT RECORD CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE. After all Contract work items are complete, the Contractor shall submit no later than fourteen (14) days after substantial completion, an “As- Built” Contract Schedule showing actual start and finish dates for all work items and milestones.
