About this file
This document is Addendum No. 2 for ITB-25-016-RS, issued by the City of Altamonte Springs, Florida, pertaining to the Eastmonte Park Synthetic Turf Project. The addendum addresses requests for information (RFIs) from potential bidders and clarifies that no substitutions will be accepted for the synthetic turf system. The city aims to maintain continuity with the existing field and ensure consistent maintenance procedures and staff training. The addendum requires bidders to acknowledge receipt by indicating so on the Proposal Bid Form or by returning a signed addendum.
The primary reason for denying substitution requests is to maintain uniformity across the park's fields. The city has consistently rejected proposals for alternative synthetic turf systems from multiple bidders, emphasizing the importance of standardized maintenance and care. Bidders are instructed that if they have already submitted their Proposal Bid Form, they should either sign and return the addendum in a sealed envelope or revise their electronic submission to include the addendum. The document provides an acknowledgment section for bidders to complete, including space for company name, signature, and officer details.

EASTMONTE PARK SYNTHETIC TURF
PROJECT
Addendum No. 2
DATE: February 20, 2025 TO: All Interested Bidders and Other Interested Parties FROM: Krisha Yurkiewicz, Procurement Specialist
The City makes the following changes, additions, deletions, information, and/or clarifications and now considers the addendum a part of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) Document. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by indicating receipt in the space provided on the Proposal Bid Form. If the bidder has already submitted the Proposal Bid Form to the City’s Procurement Division, the Bidder should sign and return this addendum in a sealed envelope or revise their electronic submission to include this addendum. The envelope should include the company name and address, the bid number, opening date and time, and "Addendum No: 1". In any case, the submission of a bid is acknowledgment of receipt of the addendum. The City will construe all bids received as though the Bidder has received and acknowledged the addendum.
Below is the City’s reply to RFIs (Request for Information – a/k/a bid inquiries or questions) submitted by interested parties by the posted deadline to submit RFIs.
Q1: Hello Krisha and is the city considering substitution submittals for other companies to bid at the Eastmonte Park project? Please LMK as we have numerous references (attached sampling) and would like a shot at your project.
A1: No, substitutions will not be considered in order to maintain continuity with an existing field at Eastmonte Park. This is to ensure all fields follow the same maintenance frequency and schedule. This allows for consistent City staff training on care and maintenance procedures.
Q2: I would like propose a substitution request for the synthetic turf system. I've attached the details with this.
A2: Please see A1.
Q3: I am contacting you because I would like to submit our GameChanger for your consideration on the above listed project. I can supply any testing that you require upon request.
