About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to a Request for Information (RFI) for a federal contract opportunity. The contract opportunity is for a Design-Build project to modernize a CEC (Cooperative Engagement Capability) Test Range and control room located at NSWC Crane in Indiana. The project will include verifying the functionality of CEC systems and subsystems in an Over the Air environment. Key details from the Q&A include: no requirements for a Fire Protection Engineer or Cybersecurity Consultant on the design team, no new AMI metering requirements, and the Government will provide switches, media converters, and racks. The project budget is $500,000 to $1,000,000, and an architect is required but does not need to be the design team lead. The solicitation is for a Design-Build contract, and the Government has conducted a lead survey showing no lead-based paint was identified.
