About this file

This document is the Iowa Central Community College Construction Manager at Risk Statement of Qualification Evaluation Summary. It outlines the process and results for selecting a Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for a renovation project at the college's East Campus and re-roofing project at the main campus. The RFQ was issued on March 1, 2024, and SOQs were due on March 15, 2024. Four firms responded, and their qualifications were evaluated across seven categories including relevant experience, team experience, local market knowledge, project understanding, project management, safety, and timely completion of recent projects. The evaluation scores are detailed in a table, and the top four firms will be invited to submit proposals. The RFP responses are due on April 5, 2024, and the selected CMaR firm will be announced on April 12, 2024.

The contract opportunity involves a guaranteed maximum price contract for the renovation and re-roofing projects. The college is seeking to select the best value proposal based on the published selection criteria. The project construction drawings are currently in the schematic design phase, and construction is anticipated to commence in August 2024 and be substantially complete by November 2024.
