About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) form submitted to the State of Illinois for the purchase of a Large Bed Compression Machine through the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). The solicitation is open to all vendors registered in BidBuy, the state's procurement system. The document serves as the official bid submission form where vendors declare their intent to perform work in full compliance with the solicitation requirements. While specific quantities, delivery timelines, site visit information, and award dates are not detailed in this particular form excerpt, bidders are required to reference Section A.1 of the solicitation document for all required submission documents and compliance requirements.

The form establishes that standard terms and conditions from the State of Illinois will govern any resulting contract and directs bidders to the Illinois Procurement Office website for these terms. Bidders may claim various preferences under the Illinois Procurement Code, including the Illinois Business Preference (requiring an affidavit) and the Domestic Product Preference (requiring designation in line items). Vendors are permitted to take exceptions to standard contract terms and conditions by submitting a redlined version with their offer, subject to state acceptance or rejection. The document emphasizes that failure to meet all stated requirements constitutes grounds for bid disqualification, and bidders must ensure proper completion and timely submission of all required documentation.
