About this file
This is a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DWD-DVR) and a Vocational Services Provider for establishing new vocational services at existing Project SEARCH sites throughout Wisconsin. The MOA outlines the commitment of DWD-DVR to contract with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for technical assistance and training support, facilitate license transfers if necessary, and provide statewide coordination services including planning meetings and assessment days. The Vocational Services Provider agrees to form partnerships with education partners or hire instructors, collaborate with existing Project SEARCH Partnership members, and arrange training and technical assistance events beginning with the 2020-2021 school year. The MOA identifies five Project SEARCH sites across Wisconsin: Andis Company in Racine, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa, Waukesha Prohealth in Waukesha, and two Froedtert locations in West Bend and Wauwatosa (both adult-only sites). The agreement has a term through June 20, 2022, with provisions for renewal for an additional year upon written mutual agreement.
The MOA establishes mandatory compliance requirements including adherence to all federal and state laws, non-discrimination policies consistent with Wisconsin and federal law, and public records disclosure obligations. The Partnership must retain all records produced under the MOA for six years and indemnify the State of Wisconsin from any injuries or damages resulting from operations. The agreement may be terminated if compliance requirements are not met and may be amended if changes occur to federal or state law, Wisconsin Administrative Code requirements, or funding levels. No specific pricing, funding amounts, or financial terms are detailed in this MOA template, which serves as a framework agreement between the state agency and vocational services providers to formalize partnerships at the designated Project SEARCH sites.
