About this file
Summary
This is a Scope of Work document for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) in California for the procurement of test and operation gases for CNG (compressed natural gas) buses and facilities. The project involves supplying various types of gases required for testing and operational purposes at OCTA's CNG bus fleet and related infrastructure. The initial contract term is two years, with a total budget allocation of $100,000. The document establishes the technical requirements and specifications for gas delivery, quality standards, and service parameters that qualified contractors must meet to support OCTA's CNG transportation operations and facility maintenance needs.
The pricing structure is based on the $100,000 budget for the two-year initial term, with costs distributed across gas supplies and delivery services as specified in the scope requirements. The procurement follows a sealed bid process (IFB), requiring contractors to meet specific technical qualifications and compliance standards for handling and delivering compressed natural gases. No information regarding renewal options, set-asides, incumbent contractors, or additional funding sources is detailed in this scope document, though contractors should anticipate that performance standards and delivery schedules will be critical evaluation factors for award consideration.
