About this file
This document is a Conflict of Interest Resolution attachment (Attachment 19) for Invitation for Bid (IFB) #2024-18 issued by the California State Lands Commission for the Prosser Dam Road Fuel Reduction Project. The attachment outlines specific disclosure requirements for prospective contractors and subcontractors regarding potential conflicts of interest.
The document mandates that contractors disclose any financial, business, or other relationships with the State Lands Commission within the past two years, including current clients subject to discretionary actions by the Commission. Contractors must provide these disclosures under penalty of perjury, and the Commission reserves the right to disqualify bidders if a conflict of interest is determined to exist. The attachment references Government Code Section 87100 and the Political Reform Act, emphasizing the requirement that public officials and contractors cannot use their official positions to improperly influence governmental decisions where they have a financial interest.
