About this file
This document is a sample Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) decal issued by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources under the Off-Road Vehicle Program. The decal serves as a required license for operating off-road vehicles in Michigan, authorized under Act 451, PA 1994 as amended. The license is non-transferable and includes a hologram security feature to prevent counterfeiting and unauthorized use. The decal expires on March 31, 2019, and must be affixed to the rear of the vehicle on a clean, dry surface such as a fender or bumper, centered on the appropriate area. The license becomes void if removed from the vehicle.
The annual fee for the ORV decal is $26.25. Violations of the Off-Road Vehicle Program provisions may result in fines and/or imprisonment as prescribed under Michigan law. The document serves as an instructional template showing the standard placement requirements and regulatory information communicated to vehicle owners upon license issuance. No contract term, renewal options, or bidding information is present in this document, as it is a sample regulatory license product rather than a procurement solicitation.
