About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers (Q&A) for a catering contract, likely for a government facility. The Q&A covers critical operational details including meal service arrangements, facility access, and logistical requirements. Key points include: the event will feature plated meals with a buffet-style line, vegetarian/vegan options will be available, and the catering team will have 24/7 access to a fully functioning commercial kitchen with walk-in coolers/freezers. The facility will provide cleaning supplies, trash removal, and coffee makers, and contractors must be vetted through security to obtain base access. Specific preparations include the ability to arrive one week prior to the event (by 10/8) to set up, with the first serving date on 10/15. The government will not provide advance payments, and instant coffee will be available for service.
