QUESTION AND ANSWER ROUND FOUR

PORTS OF ALASKA S&RTS

HTC711-20-D-R018

Question 1:

Can you provide clarification on if the rates entered on the Schedule of Rates (SOR) should be for the five-year period of performance or if there is a way to adjust the rates yearly?

Answer 1:

The Government seeks one rate for the entire five-year period of performance, rather than yearly adjustments. Offerors are instructed to insert one rate in Column L on the SOR. This rate will be utilized for the entire five-year period of performance.

In the event that the awardee is governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and labor rates are increased under that CBA, a bilateral modification will ensue to account for the increased labor rates.
