Questions for HT941024Q2085 - SLX Surgical Lights - Twentynine Palms CA

1. Are you requiring pricing for installation of the equipment?

Answer: Yes, the installation and associated renovations are included in this project.

2. Are you looking for pricing on Booms/Equipment Management Systems or just the LED Surgical Lights?

If you are looking for Booms, could you please provide a full specification of what is required?

Answer: This project does not include booms. Only LED surgical lights, monitors, and installation.

3. Will the current structure support the additional weight of the dual monitor boom? If not, would the chosen vendor be responsible for having a structural assessment done per building code standards by a state licensed structural engineer? This is the industry standard process, so we’d like to clarify.

Answer: The current structures in all ORs except OR 4 will support the new equipment. In OR 4 the vendor is responsible to have a structural assessment done and reinforce the structure.

4. If additional structure is needed to support the added weight, would the chosen vendor be responsible for bolstering the structure, or would facilities manage doing so?

Answer: The vendor is responsible to bolster the structure in OR 4.

5. Are there utilities in place to support the additional monitors, or will new circuits need to be pulled?

And if so, would the chosen vendor be responsible to do so, or would facilities manage doing so?

Answer: There is room for the monitors and lights and no new circuits will be required.
