INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE

E.3. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE.

The final acceptance authority for the government shall be:

E.4. INSPECTION LOCATION

Inspections may be conducted electronically or by physical inspection. Inspections will be conducted either at DHA, the Contractor’s and/or subcontractor’s facilities, or other locations where work is performed. Inspection and acceptance of services provided hereunder shall be accomplished by the COR; or in the COR’s absence the Contracting Officer. Inspections may include, but are not limited to, payment record audits, performance audits, claims audits, audits of data contained in Government-owned databases and data warehouses, program integrity audits, Contractor/DHA quality assurance audits, and analysis of reports and plans submitted via contract CDRLs identified in Section J, Exhibit A, CDRLs.

E.5. QUALITY ASSURANCE SURVEILLANCE PLAN (QASP)

The role of the Government is to design, implement and conduct adequate contract surveillance and quality assurance to ensure contract requirements and standards are satisfactorily performed. For these purposes, the Government will be utilizing a QASP. The current version will be provided to the Contractor and updated versions will be provided as revisions occur.
