About this file
This document provides details regarding a draft request for proposal for the TRICARE Overseas Program 2021 contract solicitation. The Defense Health Agency is seeking a single-award, predominately fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide health care support services to approximately 380,000 TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries residing outside the United States through the TRICARE Overseas Program. Services will include developing provider networks, referral management, eligibility verification, medical evacuations, record translation, customer service/call center support, beneficiary/provider education, claims processing, and coding. The contract would have a one-year base period for transition followed by seven one-year option periods, with potential for a six-month extension, for a total potential performance period of eight years and six months. Interested parties are invited to submit questions on the draft RFP by January 4, 2019 to provide feedback to help the agency refine its requirements. No formal solicitation has been issued yet, anticipated later in spring 2019.
