Question 5: noticed in the solicitation, page 11 attached, it states the delivery is 120 calendar days.
Now based off of your response to question 4, so assuming the awardee would receive all 55 assets at once and each one can be repaired in 30 calendar days, you are saying the awardee has 1650 calendar days or approximately 4.5 years to complete the repairs on this contract.
requesting clarification on the delivery schedule required by the Coast Guard for the 55 assets that will be repaired under this.
Answer 5: To clarify question 4 response the Government revised section V.3.2.2.1.d of the SOW and section VII. of the RFP. Items will be shipped in lots of 10 each on a monthly basis. Each lot consists of 10 units. Each lot is expected to be repaired and returned within 30 days of sending the units. Each month after date of award another lot of 10 units will be shipped to the contractor for repair with the exception of the last month that will ship the remaining 5 units. The total POP for this requirement is 180 days, which provides each lot 30 days to provide the repairs back to the Government.
