About this file

Amendment 0002 is a document containing updated questions and answers for a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) solicitation for preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs of miscellaneous food processing equipment. The amendment clarifies key details about the contract, including that it is not a new contract (previous contract number HQC00424P0016), site visits are permitted, and spare parts will be priced on a firm-fixed basis under specific Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLINs). The solicitation covers maintenance for food processing equipment at four military stores in Tennessee and Alabama, including equipment like meat grinders, conveyors, saws, ovens, and slicers.

The contract is a total 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 811310, with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. The government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for commercial services. Preventive maintenance will be performed quarterly on specified equipment, with payment terms set as Firm-Fixed Price for each CLIN. Interested quoters can request site visits, and the solicitation number is HQC00425QE0030, with quotes due on 8-8-2025. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and follows Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-04 dated 05/12/2025.
