About this file
This document is an Optional Site Visit Registration Guide for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) installations. It provides instructions for visitors and contractors to pre-enroll for base access using the DLA DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) pre-enrollment process to expedite visitor processing and reduce wait times at Visitor Control Centers.
The registration process consists of four key steps: (1) complete an online form at the DBIDS Pre-Enrollment website (https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/preenrollui/); (2) receive a 6-digit alphanumeric code and QR code valid for 30 days; (3) email the code to the DLA sponsor (Richard Lee at richard.t.lee6.civ@mail.mil), who submits it with visit details to the local Visitor Control Center; and (4) present the code and a REAL ID Act-compliant credential (driver's license or passport) at the Visitor Center upon arrival to finalize registration. The process is particularly important for contractors and visitors without Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC) credentials who require unescorted access to DLA installations. Pre-enrollment should be submitted 3-5 business days before the planned visit. In some cases, a visitor pass may be issued remotely and emailed directly to the sponsor. For registration assistance, interested parties should contact Richard Lee.
