The contractor shall provide bi-monthly grease trap waste removal, preventive maintenance, and repair services across multiple facility buildings. Services must comply with Texas Department of State Health Services regulations, Texas Administrative Code Rule 312.145, and Corpus Christi City Ordinances. The facility operates 13 grease traps across 10 locations with capacities ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 gallons, with the Central Kitchen requiring twice-monthly service and nine other locations requiring once-monthly service. All work must be performed Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with service calls requiring response within 24 hours and emergency services within two hours. The contract term runs from the award date through August 31, 2027, with two optional one-year renewal periods. Preventive maintenance includes removal and proper disposal of fats, oils, and grease; scraping and cleaning of trap interiors; inspection of piping, baffles, flow-control valves, and structural integrity; and consultation with local authorities regarding ordinance compliance.

Equipment and materials for all repairs must be new, commercially-grade, and installed per manufacturer specifications, with the contractor providing full warranty coverage including labor, material, and equipment deficiencies for 12 months or the manufacturer warranty, whichever is greater. The contractor must submit completed service manifests within five business days of service completion and provide detailed service and repair reports including technician identification, hourly rates, location diagnosis, parts specifications with pricing and warranty information, and labor warranty terms. Pricing for the contract is firm and fixed for the initial term, with potential Consumer Price Index adjustments for renewal periods. The procurement emphasizes best value selection based on the bidder's ability to meet specifications, performance delivery requirements, and competitive pricing, with evaluation criteria including technical capability, service responsiveness, and at least five years of relevant experience with three verifiable references.
