Question # Solicitation Reference Question Answer
1 PWS, 2.1, Task 1 Student Bundles
For your students on IEPs who will use print versions of the student editions, would you also like to include the 5-yr digital, so these students are receiving the same digital offering as the students who are using the digital only student edition?
All students will require digital access to the texts.
2 PWS, 2.4, Task 4 Product Training and Professional Learning The chart indicates hours for Years 1 and 2. Are you only requiring Product Training and
Professional Learning for training items 2.4.1 – 2.4.5 in Years 1 and 2 of the anticipated contract?
Product Training is requested for the first two years of the contract.
PWS, 2.4, Task 4 Product Training and Professional Learning
2.4.1 Product Training
This item was not included on your Professional Learning chart, but it does indicate as
CLIN 0014 on your Pricing Sheet. Are we to assume it was erroneously omitted from the chart, and you wish for the 2.4.1 Product Training to be delivered in Year 1 as a recorded webinar that may be archived on DoDEA’s LMS, Schoology?
We require live sessions of two hours each for each region for Back to School, to be recorded and added to our LMS for new teachers.
PWS, 2.4, Task 4 Product Training and Professional Learning
2.4.3 Back-to-School Webinars
The PWS verbiage indicates one 2-hour synchronous webinar for each of three regions
(Americas, Europe and Pacific) a total of 6 hours. However, your chart indicates 6 hours for Year 1 and 6 hours for Year 2 (a total of 12 hours). And CLIN 0016 indicates a total of 27 hours. Please provide clarity to know if you anticipate the Back-to-School trainings to occur every year of the 5-year contract, for a total of 30 hours or if you only wish for the Back-to-School webinars to occur in Years 1 and 2 for a total of 12 hours?
We require two hours of back-to-school webinars for each region followed by opportunities for teachers to access additional webinars of approximately one hour in total duration during four additional training days of the school year for a total of four additional hours. (These additional sessions can be broken into smaller time frames of 30 min, for example, and can be based on a "menu" of teacher-selected topics, such as differentiation or program logistics.) Additional webinars, similar to a teacher-selected pathway, can have various topics related to teaching reading or writing. Administrators would have access to a recorded overview webinar of no more than 60 min in length for Year One, which would also be available for inclusion in our LMS. The total length available for year 1 would not exceed 17 hours; the total for year 2 would not exceed 14 hours.
PWS, 2.4, Task 4 Product Training and Professional Learning
2.4.4 College and Career Ready (CCR) Webinars
The PWS verbiage indicates four 50-60 minute-long asynchronous webinars. Your chart indicates these CCR webinars will occur in Year 1 and in Year 2, for a total of 8 hours.
Yet CLIN 0017 indicates 6 hours. Please provide clarity on the calculation of six hours in the Price Sheet. And please provide clarity on whether you will request four different topics of asynchronous webinar development pieces for each of the 5 years of the anticipated contract.
Ideally, these webinars would be available within the platform to be accessed during the contract period for new teachers. Administrators would have access to a recorded overview webinar of no more than 60 min in length for Year
One, which would also be available for inclusion in our LMS. The total length available for year 1 would not exceed 17 hours; the total for year 2 would not exceed 14 hours.
6 PWS 3.6, Copyright Dates Our print materials, the student edition and the teacher edition, are a 2021 copyright.
In the solicitation it references a 2022 copyright. Would this eliminate us from consideration.
We will consider a 2021 edition.

2.4.5 Choice Webinars
2.4.5 indicates 4 four-hour webinars, the table indicates 8 hours in year 1 and s4 hours in year 2, and CLIN 0018 indicates a total of 10 hours. Can you clarify the number of
Choice Webinars per year, the frequency of these webinars, and the total number of webinar hours?
We require two hours of back-to-school webinars for each region followed by opportunities for teachers to access additional webinars of approximately one hour in total duration during four additional training days of the school year for a total of four additional hours. (These additional sessions can be broken into smaller time frames of 30 min, for example, and can be based on a "menu" of teacher-selected topics, such as differentiation or program logistics.) Additional webinars, similar to a teacher-selected pathway, can have various topics related to teaching reading or writing.
PWS 2.4.4 College and Career Ready (CCR) Webinars
PWS 2.4.5 Choice Webinars Can you clarify the difference between CCR webinars and the Choice webinars?
This terminology refers to specific days within our school calendars that are allocated for professional learning (CCR). Choice webinars would be available at any time during the school year for teacher access, similar to recorded webinars for teacher-selected pathways, such as navigation, managing assessments, differentiating instruction, accessibility tools, etc.
9 PWS 2.4.1 Product Training Can the product training be either asynchronous or synchronous?
Back to school training will be live; the additional sessions may be recorded, asynchronous sessions.
PWS 2.4.4 College and Career Ready (CCR) Webinars
PWS 2.4.5 Choice Webinars
Does the content for year 2 for Choice and CCR webinars and need to be different from the content in year 1?
The content for year 2 may provide a review of year 1 with any updates to the platform; this is meant for new teachers.
Will the 6-8 ELA program selected via this RFP be implemented with students for the
2025-2026 school year, or will the first implementation with students be the 2026-2027 school year? DoDEA will implement the new curriculum for SY 25-26.
12 Can you confirm the length of this adoption? Is it 6 years? The length of the adoption will be five years.
