About this file
This document is an Amendment (Amendment 0001) to a federal solicitation for Processor Capacity Services (PCS) Z Series Chipset by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The amendment updates multiple sections of the original solicitation, including the Performance Work Statement, Section L instructions, Section M evaluation factors, and adds a Non-Disclosure Agreement for non-government personnel. Key updates include extending the proposal submission deadline to Monday, June 23, 2025 at 10am CST.
The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide a dynamically scalable processor infrastructure for IBM System Z environments, with capabilities including hardware, software, maintenance, and support services. The contract will be a five-year base period with five one-year renewal options, totaling a potential ten-year lifecycle. The procurement aims to replace existing processor capacity and meet emerging customer requirements through a utility-based pricing model. The government will evaluate proposals based on factors including small business participation, supply chain risk management, technical/management approach, and price, with technical factors being more important than pricing.
