1006Surge Support: FMS Emerging Requirements

The Government anticipates the need for additional flight instruction for Partner Nations in accordance with PWS paragraph 5.1.3. The Contractor shall remain flexible and provide training as required when requirements emerge. The Government anticipates these emerging requirements to occur during option year 1 and option year 2. Surge support requirements are defined as short term periods, utilizing personnel/skill sets already designated on the PWS, redirected to support mission activities to meet urgent customer needs. Surge support shall be defined as hours outside the Contractor Man-Year Equivalent (CME) using additional contractor line item numbers (CLIN) to fund surge requirements. The Contractor shall ensure that they can provide this type of flexibility and support for emerging requirements.
