Questions: With regards to the qualifications for the above mentioned project, it states:
“The successful firm shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as licensed asbestos and mold contractor in at least one or more of the following states: Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.”
My question is in reference to mold, how can this requirement be enforced when most states did not have a mold license requirement 5 years ago?
Answer: Since there are only two states in Region 7 that require mold licenses (LA and TX), the contractor should be licensed for mold remediation at least 5 years in one of those two states.
NM, OK, and ARK do not require licenses.
