About this file
This solicitation notice and related specifications call for proposals to remove and replace four existing laboratory exhaust fan units and modify two stainless steel plenums at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System Research Facility. Contractors must furnish all labor and materials to demolish the existing systems, install new factory-mounted roof curbs, and modify the plenums per the project drawings and specifications. Proposals are due on or around April 7, 2021 for a project valued between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, who must be verified and listed in the Vendor Information Pages database to be considered for award. The specifications provide detailed requirements for corrosion resistant coated fan housings, impellers, plenums and roof curbs along with bypass and isolation dampers, sound attenuators, vibration monitoring systems and other components.
