The notice outlines standard bidding procedures, including the requirement to complete an IRS Form W-9, submit typed bids with any corrections initialed, and note any deviations from specifications. Bidders must provide a bid security of 10% of the total bid price, and the district reserves the right to reject any bids, waive minor informalities, and accept the bid most favorable to their interests. The contract prices are to be held firm for one year, with the possibility of a one-year extension upon mutual agreement, and prevailing wages will apply for construction, alteration, and repair services.

The document emphasizes several key financial and legal requirements, including the need for a performance and payment bond for 100% of the total bid price, liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million in coverage naming Warwick Public Schools as an additional insured, and compliance with all applicable city, state, and federal laws. Warwick Public Schools is exempt from Rhode Island Sales Tax and may consult additional purchasing consortiums and websites for comparative bids, including RI State MPA, NASPO, MHEC, Sourcewell, and Omnia Partners. The district retains the right to award contracts in part or full, adjust quantities based on fund availability, and terminate contracts with 30 days' notice if deemed in the best interest of the school district.
